finally had some good rain at the ranch , more expected this week . temperatures are forecast low 90s too high 80s . almost ready.

and more rain tonight.

temperatures are moderating and rain has returned to our lives . almost ready to ride , need more rain and a little less hot. almost.

I did take the Beta outside for some fresh air today . started right up . time for a fresh spark plug , will install one tomorrow.

the ranch is brown , the drought keeps on keeping on . the temperatures are starting to moderate to very comfortable . sounds cool to have 3 motorcycles , but one can only ride one at a time . if I need to go some where I can pick the car or truck or the Tenere or the new DR . the beta you have to plan for ... wife honey do list , college football ( Texas looked great kicking Oklahomas butt yesterday in the Cottonbowl ) , do I really feel like loading every thing up . you have to plan ahead . surprising how much the dirt bike has taught me about me .

This weather is made for this. Of course, it could just be that we don't often get it.

i rode my new DR650 this morning . a different beast than the super Tenere . wind is really pushing from the north ..... so bike runs pretty good , the seat is the problem . no comfort for my big butt. will be getting a new seat soon.
back to the wind . skinny bike that doesn't weigh a ton , a bridge a truck and lots of side wind, made for an interesting moment . can we say buffeting . now the bridge has a swirl effect , wind pushing from one direction and as you cross it comes back from the opposite direction , and a truck about to pass me .... I managed 58 miles before my butt got to upset with me .
as for the Beta dirt bike its ready I'm ready but my buddies have some things keeping them from riding this weekend and next ... so probably second weekend of November before we start riding again.
so tomorrow will be on the super Tenere , got to spread the love.

not when its raining all day .... so it went from hot summer to pretty much winter , I think fall was one weekend and we missed it.

Fall was really short here too. It's 5 F here this morning.

3 degrees and snowing here this morning. I haven’t ridden since last Tuesday and it was snowing, it has snowed every day since, washed the bike Wednesday and hoping for some decent riding weather in December. Currently have 81 consecutive months of riding which is a new record for me.
