those two KTM guys , had no place to go , the direction they wanted to go was worse than where they came from, and that was bad.... three hours later I check radar , and that place was still getting pounded.... I may never no what they decided to do, but it is a great adventure , if they made it.... and the storm was moving toward Arkansas and Louisiana ,blocking them.

I was waiting on the weather to pass so I could ride to Round Rock Sunday to get some parts from a buddy. Just about the time I was going to get geared up I got a call from the boss. Started at noon Sunday and got home at 6:15 am this morning.

so marquez dominated practice at cota today..... it was cool temperatures early , fairly warm by 3 pm with no shade around , hung out with good friends , that was best part of going. now to install hand guards on X.

silver bullet , I cant argue with that..... when all this started back in October last year , I told my neighbor (" trail boss " on various forums ) that it would be april or may of this year before I could get a bike , but I found the honda at a great price so pulled the trigger early . have so many things competing for my time im lucky to be able to do anything at all . so here is a list of my best excuses , #1, I have a full time job working 60 hours a week, #2, I have a second job as I serve on my city council ( not to much time here , 3 to 6 hours a month ) . # 3 , I am married , got to consult and consider the real boss , as I am her full time yard man and property repair person. #4, I serve in my church as a deacon , of course mostly sundays and that's a major day most ride on , but serving is important to me . then things that I never considered as a issue . #5, damn ram truck is so tall makes loading and unloading an iffy thing especially by ones self ( im going to try that receiver hitch carrier that you recommended , just have to get used to it I guess ) . # 6, still need some important to me safety gear ( knee braces ) . #7, im not in a hurry , I have it its here , and that's a start. #8, it rains almost every weekend .#9, I have children and grand children that sometimes like to hang with me . #10, own a second property in another town that im preparing to put on market ,and that is going to be a huge time killer. #11, the most impactful excuse I can come up with is , need more money , everything has to fit in budget ,and it is limited at times...… excuses are like a------- every one has one..... so there it is , my best list, im going to ride it today in the back yard after I finish hand guard install...… damn its raining.

Lol TMI, just busting your chops.

Lunch or meet somewhere to ride the dirt bikes. I have an extra bike I can let carrot ride, KTM 200exc.

My biggest excuse is cost. Hardly nowhere in Texas to ride for free. Paying $20-$50 a day to ride and camp gets old. I prefer to trailer a long ways to AR, OK, NM, CO, etc. to ride and camp for free. Then I'll stay a week so gas cost gets spread. Single track is sooo much better there also.

its all good , need my chops busted every once in awhile, all that you say is true , 30.00 a day to ride is another issue, carrot has a place we ride for free . if he is not working.
