I have a 2014 ST that I bought used. I want to raise it back to stock settings. It has pensky shocks front and rear. The forks are lowered and easy to raise. I do not know if the links to the rear shock absorber are stock or lowered. How do you check if the rear are not stock?

I just looked at mine. Didn't see any markings on them? Looks like 4 1/4" is stock

See reply in the first thread you started. How far were the forks lowered in the clamps? If ~5/8" your description indicates aftermarket dogbones.

I made a mistake and you are correct. I have OHLINS front and rear on my 2014 ST. I posted the correct info on the general discussion page after I could not find this post in the tech board. That post was closed by the moderator as a duplicate.
I raised the front shocks to the top of the triple tree as the Yamaha service manual showed. I measured the old stock rear shock and it was the same length as the ohlin. My tenere appears to have the stock dog bones (links). The bike sits higher on the front slightly after adjustment and I could not tell any difference in how it handles after a short ride. It sits better on the sidestand. Now to adjust/check the ohlin set up for sag and preload.
I'm trying to be careful with the suspension baseline and get a good starting point to adjust it.
Thanks for the help and grace.
