Hello all,

Just a quick intro. I've been riding for the better part of my life and I really enjoy all aspects of motorcycling. I've owned everything from dirtbikes to a Goldwing. About 6 years ago I purchased a few KLR650s so I could ride with my boys. We really enjoyed them and put some serious miles on them. As I started to need to ride more hwy and freeways to connect my routes and as I looked at doing longer trips I really began researching what would be the best bike in that category. I will admit I'm partial to Japanese bikes in general. I'm very utilitarian in my approach... I like my bikes to run and run well with as little in repairs as possible. After a lot of research I settled on a 2012 SuperTen. I was able to picked on up for a great price and bonus... It had already been dropped (onto the crash bars). I absolutely love, love, love this bike! I recently completed a trip up to Utah from Arizona and I broke it up into about 400-500 mile sections. I rode a 60ish mile section of dirt in Capitol Reef and while it wasn't as manageable as my KLR it did amazing. I currently run MOTOZ tractionator GPS tires front and rear and I think they are about perfect for what I want to do. I look forward to interacting with you all.
