I just finished watching Long Way Round again for what must be the sixth or seventh time since it came out. The wife had gotten it for me on DVD a few years back and it was just as enjoyable for me this time around (no pun intended) as the first. I am sure there are those that feel they did not do it the hardcore way with the support they received but hey, they did it and that gets props from me. I really enjoyed it and truth be told, that did give me incentive to get the Strom when I did years ago.

So hey, here's to Charlie and Ewan from a devoted fan in Socal.

Any others here that are fans too?

I really enjoyed watching it as well. Wish I had the DVD instead of trying to piece it together on ytube. They get knocked around a little by the adv crowd, but they're good guys in my book.

I personally wouldn't knock them. They did it because they wanted to. They helped Unicef. They inspired thousands to get on to bikes and they helped take some of the stigma away from bikers and biking. It was entertainment and I for one was thoroughly entertained. Hats off fellas .... I wish there was more stuff like that to watch.

Started watching this on Current TV and then added it to my Netflix. Really enjoyed it. I will have to add it to my DVD collection at some point.

I have yet to see the movie but am almost through reading the book and don't realy care for it. Lots of bickering and bad language.

I watched it again on Current TV. Liked it better the second time.

Sometimes they're a bit whiny and they had money and support out the yinyang but they're still riders and I still have that in common with them.

I liked Long Way Down better the first time.

Sounds like something you'd need to see a specialist about. ;)

Wiki says it's currant pudding served with custard. Must be an acquired taste.

Dude it's a killer pudding. Not for the faint hearted ... or the weak hearted to be precise. Steamed, suet laden pudding with loads of mass. Tons of currants and raisins. You'll put on weight just looking at the damn thing. Just the job for a winters day though. ;)

Thanks for setting us straight Swagger! If I ever get over to your neck of the woods, I will try it out. I just need to work up the nerve to order it, hopefully it won't be a cute gal as the waitress. ;) ;D

That sounds fantastic. Why does it have such a dreadful name?

LWR/LWD were great. I prefer LWR though over LWD for re-watchability. Did anybody else find it funny that the medic in LWD is named "Dai" (phonetically, "die")?

I noticed that. If I am in trouble and yelling for the medic, I don't want to yelling, "Dai, Dai, help me Dai!" ;D

I saw a trailer a while back for something called "One Crazy Ride" or something like that. Has anybody ever heard or seen that one?

Venture -- we hosted Guarav in Seattle when he came to the States to promote One Crazy Ride (disclaimer: link to our website, because it can be hard to find). Good guy and interesting film. We did several showings of it this past summer at different rallies we attended -- definitely worth a watch.
