Hi all and happy New Year.
I am about to change my first spark plug replacement on my 2020 S10 and I have found the screw that keeps the coil very hard to remove and somebody applied some green locktite....
I thought it was not meant to be....IMG_20230103_142356.jpg

same here mine were loctited i think from new they were difficult to remove the first time, but they have been removed several times since, with no issues and just screwed back in without anything since

I'll dogpile on too...I don't recall if it was there way back when I first changed my spark plugs, but I've never put any on. Out of curiosity I looked in the service manual and it does specify Loctite on the ignition coil bolts (though it didn't say what specific kind), along with 7.2 ft/lbs of torque. I've never used a torque wrench in that particular area either. With torque values that low, I tend to trust my wrist more than I do my Pittsburgh torque wrench.

Thanks all!
Being that the first time sparks plugs where removed changed I was kind of curious if it was just my bike...
Thanks again for all the info!!!
Really appreciate.
