It was great and out of the way ... then took a wrong turn and had to drop down via a steep track and into a Farm Yard ... happily the farmer was sound and was happy to let me go through his gate and join a bridelway and pick my way out into the valley ... it was a nice ride

and then about an hour later ....
About an hour after that I stopped at Ludlow for a coffee and these two guys rocked up on their BMW's ... just out for a bimble ... they were great to talk to and sadly I only had a few minutes but boy ... could have chatted for hours, really nice couple and have done amazing stuff.

I came through Clun about two and a half hours ago. Decided a trip to Wales was in order, as the weather was looking good.

I got to Crossgates on the way to Rhayader and went back a little way and headed to Clun/Bishops Castle as I was a little early for my overnighter in Rhayader. As always, some brilliant riding in Wales. Am heading to the Brecon Beacons tomorrow.

Ahhh an overnighter Boris ... proper jealous .... great day around there wasn't it? I love to just get lost down those tiny back lanes and see where you pitch up? little corners of heaven, some people just live in awesome places that are tucked away and time passes by, lovely ... your S10 is looking sweet mate by the way!

Meant to say ... you probably know it but if you get down towards Ponterwyd then get over the Credigon and over towards the Nant-Y-Moch reservoir and mooch around the forests and back lanes there ... lovely and remote, some good green laning also and then spit yourself out with views over the sea to Borth ... love a bit of wild camping around there, fantastic!

Yes, was a good day :). Whichever road you take seems good, with some proper nices places en route.

Cheers
