This is a feeler to see when we could get a crew of Houston S10 owners together. We could take a day long hill country ride or something similar. I know the Christmas holidays are a poor time, but let's shoot for something after the New Year. I have some routes, but I am open to suggestions.

I also created a FB page for those of us wanting to organize group rides. We can also use it as a place for anyone planning to attend the 2013 gathering in Ouray, CO. We can also use it as a place to share adventures, pictures, and stories.

The weather is looking OK for next weekend (Dec 22). Anybody want to head up towards Austin? If we leave early it's a day trip. I'm open to route suggestions. Otherwise, we'll see what Texas Motorcycle Roads has to say.

This sounds like a good idea to me to hook up for a ride with riders in our area. ::008::
I will be hunting this coming weekend but am open after Christmas. As coastie posted, TAR would be a good checkout of equipment and bike before Colorado but I would also be up for a get together ride before the TAR.

Post up your intentions and I'm a good possibility, even for an overnighter.
Friday or Saturday departure. I was thinking something like below.

Day 1:
8am - Depart Houston
Ride up to Navasota...there's some twisty loops around there
11:30 - Lunch in Taylor
Skirt around Round Rock
Ride through Canyon Ridge Springs which looks promising
Ride around Buchanan Lake, down to Marble Falls and end in Kerrville.

Day 2:
7am -Depart Kerrville
Ride the Three Sisters and maybe the Utopia or Hunt Loop.
Grab lunch somewhere and haul a55 back to Houston (I-10???)

My weekends are pretty booked due to work issues from now through Janurary.

Might be able to ride with the group to Taylor but would have to bonzai back home after lunch.

Let's do this after Christmas. I think people's schedules will be much looser then...and I scored suite tickets to see the Texans this weekend. ::015::
