I've run the Mitas, and Motoz. I'd recommend the Dunlop Trailmax Mission for this trip.
I'm 10k kms in to a set, that I put on in November, rode most of that over the winter. Normally, my winter miles eats tires, the sand between the tire and the road sheds them. I expect to get another 10k out of these, based upon current condition.
Did some reading, and there's some long haul guys getting 20k Miles on a set easy.
