large foot pegs

I would appreciate any insight(s) you might offer regarding a larger foot peg. I was looking at pivot pegs.

Some people like larger pegs. Some report dragging them more and change back. I personally have ridden with pivot pegs and did not care for them. Note that any all metal peg will wear your riding boots at a faster rate as well. I did not care for the unstable feeling when mounting the bike, (I step on the left peg and swing my right leg over the bike), and did not find myself using the pivot action while riding. This was a previous bike, long gone now. I wear a size 47(12) boot, for reference. I have no issues with the stock S10 pegs. The vibration change is also noticeable to some when changing to all metal pegs.
