I'm just a poor little English girl, currently live about 40 miles north of London.

I did though live in both South Africa and Australia when I was a lot younger.

@BigTim... Nah, we'd probably get accused of corrupting them O:)

In Aussie I lived in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne (got sent from place to place with work).. In South Africa (we emigrate there in mid '70s) I lived in Springs (just east of Jo'burg)

Probably closer to you than you think.. depending which end of the Chilterns you're at..

Little village called Barton-Le-Clay here just north of Luton and south of Bedford.

Might as well explain the original "enemy" comment..

I'm the owner of a forum that covers all super tenere models and we're expanding into the full yamaha adventure market. I won't mention the name/url as I have great respect for all the other forum owners who have taken the time and effort to put together a resource for other people to enjoy, hence I leave it upto them if they wish to make the link.

I personally don't plan on being a stranger on this forum as another community viewpoint is always welcome and just increases the worldwide knowledge base for these great bikes. It's a big enough planet for us all..

Something I have just posted on my site is that this is a great resource for the xt1200z crowd and hopefully in the future you never know but we could end up with cross atlantic meets ;D

You'll have to leave it to a time when we're just completing one of the raid spec XTZ850's (original super 10 with a 4TX engine, strengthened frame, WR front end with a full raid fairing) then we'll ride each others (best really as I can't get my leg over our projects!!!!)

;)
