Hello from Wisconsin!
I just bought a new-to-me barely broken in Super Tenere.
I was originally looking at Triumphs and this beauty showed up at my local Triumph dealer on trade.
Obviously being both a Yamaha and King Kenny fan I HAD to have it!View attachment 87929
Welcome from Oz KReinke. Mine is the same and it tend to elicit commends from other riders regarding the history behind these colors. Don't see many here in that color, i only seen one other.

Welcome! Was that the one at the Reedsburg Triumph dealer? I was up there this summer when my wife got her Tiger 800 serviced. They had a yellow one that looked really nice. Same color as my 2016. Good to see another yellow one in the Badger State.

Yep. I was looking at Tiger 800s and then I saw what would eventually become "The Kenny Tractor". I have never ridden a big adventure bike (my main bike at the time was a BMW K-1200LT) and I was worried about the seat height (never been able to flat-foot my Beemer so it was always dicey with a 900 LB tourer off-road or on uneven pavement).

It was literally love-at-first ride. I cannot believe how intuitive the handling was and how nice the bike was. There was literally NO learning curve [except for off-road which I don't have much experience in.....yet ;)]

I am actually building a street-tracker based on an XS-400 that I was going to paint up in the yellow black. My son wanted me to do it in Yamaha blue and it was a constant argument. I have decided to do the tracker in blue because I have my yellow Yammie.

I'm thinking of getting the Kenny Roberts autographs for it like on the old RZ-350 Kenny tribute bikes (a bucket list motorcycle for me).
