Just got my order number!

I just had my order confirmed and received my order number. In talking to the General Manager, I asked him if they had any idea how many Tenere were placed on order. I'm number 6 in his region. I have no idea how big that area may be, but I'm hoping that number increases.

I don't know my order number, but for the small dealer in middle of Washington, I was the 3rd bike he ordered from that location alone. The Yamaha district manager at the time said there were 25 of them for his whole area. This was the third week in Sept.

Number 161776 here. I was third ordered from my dealer and he now has five or six on order. I wish we could get a total number ordered so far.

My guess is that 16 may indicate US delivery, perhaps the next digit is the region code. Too bad we cant break the logistics code. I'm 163827 placed 15 November.

Thanks....its killing me.....but I think the wait will be worth it. This just gives me time to start buying farkles.

I happened to be in Texas, so I went to the dealer in Longview who was discounting the sales price...I was number 16 to order from that dealer, on October 16th. From what I'm hearing on the various boards, pre-orders have been robust...

Not sure how to parse order numbers. I placed my order on Sept 2nd and the number is 156143. In the end it doesn't matter to me as it is still a very long way till May! :-(

Interesting that you received your order number already. I placed my order on 9/18, and I think I was the first one at this particular dealer. I'll have to contact them to see if they have gotten any info from Yamaha.

Yeah now we just need someone to design it, produce it and get em shipped out lol, I think Yamaha should swallow the cost

Yeah that does seem a little odd, best get on the case straight away, I'm sure it's all good but better to be safe than sorry.
