I stayed in the village of Malta in Austria in 2010.The local town is Gmund and the locals leave their keys in the cars ignition in the car park when they go in the supermarket.I asked WHY.The local mans reply.well it's the best place to keep them.they never get lost then. When I got to the accommodation up the valley in Malta I pulled into the hotel.and the owner told me to put my bike next to his BMW GS1200 in his garage.I rode in.garage door open and his keys in his GS 1200 There is no where in the UK you could do that.

Hi Mike, nice number plate but great photos! Whereabouts in Austria and the Swiss Alps did you go?
Mike
We stayed in sky resorts in Austria and Switzerland. The hotel is in St Anton am Arlberg and the tunnel is on the road to Zurs. We also stayed in Sedrun in Switzerland. The pictures of my bike and the twisty roads are the Furkapass near Gletsch in Switzerland.

The 'Beautiful View' was taken in a small town called La Frasse near Chamonix (France) and the 'Quaint Town' is Annecy (France)

We rode the Oftenpass, Flueapass, Abula Pass, Passe Tremola, Airolopass, Nufenenpass, Grimselpass and Sustenpass which we all very quiet. Decided to give the Stelvio a miss as it is that busy now I think it is dangerous. Quite a trip all organised by Global Motorcycle Tours

It must be hard to ride around when everywhere you look it is a work of art. Beautiful, thank you for sharing.
