I gotta agree with RonH. It's great to read about and see all the stuff that is available and see how others use it, but I would rather spend some time getting to know my new bike for a few months and then upgrade what's not to my liking. So far, that's a big ze-ro. The more I see things in the forum here the more likely it is that I will go mostly with OEM add-ons (sorry, can't bring myself to use the "f" word that rhymes with "sparkle")...especially when it comes to the choices for panniers/cases/bags. I don't think I want to ride around with a massive (IMHO) gap between the bike and what I consider a poor design for something that costs what it does. Yeah the OEM stuff ain't cheap either, but no one is talking about how the stuff droops to the side, how big a gap is, or how they had to make X number of trips to the hardware store to buy some doo-dad to make it fit right.
But hey, that's just me. Enjoy your bikes and fix 'em up the way y'all want to, that's what makes it y'all's, so more power to ya!!! 8)
