Is 400 a major milestone?

I just noticed today that we passed the 400 user mark. Is this a milestone? Dunno, but it shows we're a steadily growing community, and I think the number of people hanging out here is pretty amazing considering the S10 hasn't even hit the US shores yet.

I was also poking around on the stats pages that my host provides, and below is the site's traffic for the 2010 year. The site actually was launched in February, even though most folks didn't start showing up until September when the US market was announced. You'll see that the growth is exponential. I checked January's numbers thus far and we're going to crush December!

Thanks to everybody who hangs out here and shares their ideas and experiences. I'll say that we have got a heck of a great crowd here compared to many of the other forums that I frequent.

I think that 400 is quite impressive. Even more is the knowledge base that we all ready have with the members thus far.

Many thanks to Venture and the mods for a fantastic site. It is so cool to have folks form all around the world conversing about a bike we are all so interested in. Being able to pick the brains of the lucky ones who have S10s in their possession really eased my decIssion to buy sight unseen.

Just wait to see the growth when the XT12 starts rolling on the USA... You'll need to move this forum to a (much) better server :D

Yes, I agree this will be the case. I have plans to move us off shared hosting to a VPS (virtual private server). From there we can grow as needed quite painlessly.

I'm really counting on you guys to keep on keeping on, as we take delivery of our new SILVER S10 next week here in Chiriqui, Panama. I JUST sold my Yam Venture & Honda Transalp to the local Health Director of the area. We'll be Flying in some stuff, and riding up to Costa Rica to get the rest of every thing. Ya know, Tank bag w/GPS bracket, bar risers, Bag liners, and I'll weld up a special rack to support my medium "Motofizz" seat bag w/rain fly.
Our plans are to head North 1st week in March, then spend a couple months cruising our native country before many more bridges fall. Then as weather improves, we'll head further North to Washington, then East to a point where it's easy to go South to reenter Mexico at Brownsville. (safest crossing point)
Anyone wanting to hook up and ride together for a while, feel free to let us know where you are.
More later, GP & Jennifer
