Integrating front turn signals into aux headlights

has anyone tried making the running lights, inside of the headlight housing, into turn signals? I think they won’t be bright enough if I try this, but man it would allow me to lower the big aftermarket windshield I have on the thing without the huge stock indicators in the way

Probably be easier and safer to just relocate the stock signals.

You've got a wind screen that will touch the turn signals?? Wow, what a barn door that is. I think I'd trim back the barn door before getting rid of the popsicles.

They would indeed not be bright enough or large enough.

Barn door- thats a good nickname for it. Its huuuge and has some wider spots down low by the indicators. My only concern with trimming it is the asthetics of it- id want it to be smooth and rounded, not jagged- cant find lines on it that would look ok. Ill post a pic in a minute

Sounds like the big Pyramid Plastic screen. If you don't know how to cut it the job would be an easy one for any plastic shop. Just mark your cut with some masking or blue tape.
