Did progressive give you a reason. I would check your credit score. Could be a sign something is amiss. They base rates on score as well as driving history. This is done as a coralation. Where do you draw the line? Whats next race, sex, religion. I think if you pay your premium in full credit should have no bearing. Base it on driving record.
Big bunch of BS. Probably want DNA results for determining premiums next. Nothing but scammers.

I will never ever use State Farm again. They hung me out to dry on a collision in which my wife was the first of four vehicles hit by an underinsured driver, who by the way had a suspended license. I figure it cost me about $20K by the time it was all said and done for something that was 100% not our fault.

When I checked Foremost, after giving the obligatory info., they redirected me to go through the same process with several other companies. More of a broker than an actual carrier.
