Idle speed adjustments

Just received my FTecu bench tune kit
My main concern to correct is vague throttle response, my bikes idle speed is at the lower end, barely 1000RPM, too low for me
I find it very frustrating,bike stalls very easily ,engine has a difficult time picking up from such low RPM resulting in lousy throttle response.
I’m hoping to be able to raise the idle to about 1200-1250.
Does anyone know if you can raise the idle RPM with the FTecu program ?
Or is there any other way to raise the idle speed ?

I don't think you'll be able to raise the idle electronically. I've not had to look, but there may be a hard stop that can be adjusted.

What Jeff said. There is no idle adjustment, if it's off, it's likely in need of a throttle body sync, as has been said. Do the free and simple stuff first, BEFORE you start in with the FTecu stuff or you will be starting with a poor baseline and be chasing your tail for much longer with the FTecu ware.

I agree. Mine is the same way. I've stalled a bike maybe 2-3 times from take-off in 50 years. I've stalled the ST 2-3 dozen times in one year.

I stalled mine a few times before I changed the neutral throttle map to match the first gear map (which I also changed). The gen1 first gear map has a significantly lower actual throttle body position for the same grip twist at the low end in neutral (or clutch pulled). So letting the clutch out lowers the throttle body opening, leading to the apparent bog down as you start from a dead stop. Those that are hard on the throttle while starting don't notice this. I did notice. And when I changed the throttle mapping, that illusion went away.
