The "red flag" with the light blue colour, is the tool for creating new FAV. (to the right of the measuring tool)
I will upload some pictures in a minute, the shows the place where to turn off the rerouting, and the invert route.

You can turn off the re routing so no problem. Also you can show the track on the satnav at the same time as the route. So best of both worlds there.

Look...I even changed language for you
First you go to "settings"
Then to "navigation"
And then to where I point on picture.
Then set it to "off"

Unfortunately I don't have any track or route in my 595 at the moment, so I can't show you where I believe it is possible to invert route.
But you go to "app"
then "Trip planner" if it is a route,
Or "tracks" if it is track...
But I havent tried this on my 595, only my old 550....so...

To display tracks on or off in my Zumo660.
Tools, Off Road Tracks, Select Track, Show on Map, Choose Hide or Show. Can also change colour and name.

I am familiar with turning tracks on/off, even changing the color. Maybe I should show the track and the route........never thought of that

So I loaded a route with 4 waypoints, also made it a track. Turned off the auto calculate, thanks for that tip. But once I passed the waypoint it disappeared. Is there NOT a way to keep them on my maps ALL the time?

As far as I know, waypoint won't stay there.....so NO
If you wan't something that stay there, it must be FAV.

If it is something you want to use in the future, for other trip, make them a FAV.

OK so here the scenario:

I am riding along and see a point of interest I want to keep. What do I do on my GPS to mark or keep that place?

or

I am in BC at my desk and making a route. I mark the place with the red flag (like you said in a previous post) then I want to send it/keep it in my device. What do I need to do AFTER I send my tracks/routes to my unit?

1) You have to be at the place you want to mark as a FAV.
When you are there, pres on the icon you use to show where you are, and then you can save this spot as a FAV.
You have to stop, and do it...I know. But other than that, It is that easy...

2) If you have send the new FAV to the 595, you don't have to do anything...it will be on 595.
But when you send it, be sure that you have selectet all what you want to send to 595.
If you only send the route, the FAV won't be send...

Simply save your waypoints as favorites. It will then show up as a heart on your map.

My bad wrong terminology from using tracks so many years!! The 595 uses locations and points of interest instead of waypoints. To save a location or point of interest simply go to search results and tap the "i" icon, then tap save, then tap done
