EricV I hope they come early and you and yours have some wonderful adventures on them in 2020.
Thanks 2talltoo, we'll have adventures on some mid size bikes between now and then. I picked up a cheap 600 and we'll find something for the wife once she sells her GSA. It's been very hard to get her out on the big bike for the last 6 months. She says she's done with big bikes. I think her confidence has dropped as she's stopped riding as much and isn't quite as strong as she used to be. We'll get back in the groove though.

Why 2? Roller skates? ;)
Fair question. My wife rides her own bike. She's downsizing now from a '16 GSA. She's excited to work on being a 'slow adventurer' on the little CTs and seeing more, covering less miles and staying off the big roads that we've used so much in the last decade for moto trips.

Can't fault your wife's feelings on the GSA. I've had 2 like hers and you throw in 8 gallons of fuel and it's a load. It's more of a get on and cover some major miles bike for sure.

After perusing what all's out there....nothing grabs me. If I need a sport bike, I grab the Tenere. If I need a commuter, I grab the Tenere. If I need to get two cases of beer, and lunch, I grab the Tenere. Nothing else checks the boxes for ME....and she always makes me smile. The only other bike that I would like to take for a ride is the Niken; for curiosity sake.

The Niken is fun. It rides like a bike, but some hooligan will push that sucker hard and it just goes around the corners.

I'm looking forward to the challenges of planning routes on back roads. The Fizzy 6 is half hooligan and half 'let's go someplace' bike. Winding it out is interesting. It's been a while since I had a bike that revved that far up the scale.

As much as I like the Super Tenere, It is very limited on what it's capable of. Great touring bike and very comfortable. Not so good in the dirt other than mellow 2 track.

When I get on my Beta it's like riding a supercharged bicycle!! My plated dirt bike always puts a big smile on my face every time I ride it. In a tough situation I can just lift it up, push it through, or ride around almost any hard obstacle. And the Beta has no limits whatsoever in any riding condition. It can go from hard core dirt bike into a full blown touring machine with just just a change of the tank and a few bags/backpack. As long as I keep the miles around 300 per day it's no issue. Just not as comfortable is all. Cool thing about the chain is I can change the gearing. 15/45 and it will plug along at 80mph all day long.

Hard core steep rocks

Threading my way through a tree. I made it but it was tight!!

Up to a local peak in freezing weather. These Kenda Big Blocks are a really nice overall touring tire.

Preparing for a harsh off road ride to test out these stupid tires.

My first bike was a ‘68 CT90. This new concept brings back memories. It would make a great RV bike. I’ll stick with my TU250 for now. It scratches the small bike itch for me.
Me too! The Trail 90 idea will never die because it is perfect for so much of the world. I like this new one.
