Has anyone rode the "2" from Seattle to Michigan. Thinking about doing a run this June from California to Seattle (395 why) then follow the "2" east. Just looking for some experience with this road. Thanks. ::021::

I rode it 10 years ago from Wisconsin to Glacier NP. From what I remember it was a nice 2 lane with plenty of passing opportunities. Much better than interstate!

2 across Montana and Idaho and then 20 across Washington St is a nice scenic ride. 3 is in Southern BC. Nice as well but tends to be a bit more traffic.

I’ve taken hwy 2 a bunch of times, 2 used to be mostly 2 lane hwy across N Dakota until the big oil fracking business go going, today it’s mostly a 4 lane hwy, but still an interesting drive, as mentioned hyw 20 is a very nice ride through lots of big timber country.

Ridden it a couple times over the years. Nice alternative if you want to stay to the far north and off I-90/94. Heading east, there's not much to see once you clear Glacier NP until reaching MN.
