The first thing to do is select "Media" from the main menu. After that, you can enter a specific album by clicking on its title.

Once inside of an album, if you have permission to, you may add a single item or do a mass upload of items. Worth noting is that the gallery will automatically resize large photos for you.

To view and/or create your own personal albums, click on "My Albums"

Once in the "My Albums" section click "New Album" to have the album created. There are a lot of album options, just change the title and submit, let everything else go.

This last part is pretty cool. If you want to link a Media item to a post in the forums, do the following: first, go into the detail of the item by clicking on its title.

After getting into the detail, copy the text from the "BBC Embed code" field into your post. In this case you would copy and paste the following text:
Code:
[smg id=30]

Pasting this text into a forum post creates a really cool linkage to the gallery. See this example in action:

[smg id=30]

That's all there is to it. Any questions reply to this thread. Let's see some pictures!

I noticed I had to approve your album before it became publicly available. I'll have to figure out how to turn that off...

Otherwise looks good! Thanks for being the guinea pig on this one.

I figured out how to not make user albums require approval. Now anybody who creates one will have it automatically accessible by all users immediately.

Keep it clean, folks, okay? :)

Good move Venture, so know they will be public straight away, as long as people keep the albums how should be say clean be public from the start should be all good. I'm sure old eagle eyes Swagger will be all over anything that looks like an issue.

Great work Venture keep it up mate. ;)

Hi Barge,

You can edit your existing album simply be going in to it and using the edit tool.

I had a quick look and can't see a delete option for complete removal, Venture or Swagger will no doubt pick this up for you when they see it.
