I use the Garmin Montana 600 series. And if I was to replace it I would get the new 700 series.
It is mounted on Garmin's own 600 series cradle with Touratech mounting system. You do need to install extra supports to Yamaha's cross mount, vibration off tarmac can kill the GPS and damage the plastic supports, the 600 series is fairly heavy because of the large battery.
What I like about the 600/700 series is the portability, they are considered a handheld unit which is a bonus for me as I can transfer it to other sports I do.
My wife has the Zumo XT on hers, nice that it has a larger screen but not portable and takes up a lot of space. The Zumo is also much simpler or basic compared to the Montana's portable's.

I'm a big fan of my Zumo XT. It seems like someone who actually rides a motorcycle had a hand in its development. Things like altering routes in progress, detours, custom avoidances, etc are all easier on this unit that on my previous ones. I like the adventurous routing feature too. It's the first GPS I've owned that I've actually plan routes right on the GPS, rather than on something like Rever or MyRoute and then upload them. Although uploading routes (and tracks) is done wirelessly and simply with the Zumo; I can do a route on MyRoute, send it to my Google Drive, and upload it to the Zumo without the hassle of data cables.

It also acts as a central point for bluetooth connections. When I ride, I can have my Pixel 6a and my Sena linked to the Zumo simultaneously. I can listen to music, I can talk to my passenger, I can get turn by turn directions in my helmet, and i can see whoever is calling me on the phone on the Zumo screen so I know which calls I can ignore. And now I can keep my phone in my pocket and not have it ruined by handlebar vibration.

I used the standard Zumo mount that comes with the kit, along with a homemade accessory rail mount.

What is mounted to the right of the GPS unit?
The previous response is correct. That device to the right of the XT is indeed a Uniden R7. I’m using a Ram Mount magnetic Power Plate to hold it in place. Still fiddling with the best way to get audio from the R7 into my helmet.

I like the Montana 6xx of which I have a couple that have navigated a few 100k kms to date.

An SW Motech mount.

to which I added a lump of delrin

and a Garmin rugged mount. I also switch the mount's power supply from a separate switch so I can leaved it booted for as long as I like, whether the ignition is on or off and I don't have to play with the Montana's power button which are not unknown to be a problem at times.

Zumo XT here. Love it and i generally hate the garmin ui/ux. Its decent enough on the zumo via the drive app on my phone.

I used the standard mount that it came with.

Ill add a pic tomorrow.
