So assuming I get this bike, I'm going to need to know how to say its name. And how to type it.

How is Tenere pronounced? And how do you put those little accents over the e's in the name?

Thanks!

it may of been talked about here awhile back, but many pronounce it "Ten A Ray" i think the official Yamaha pronounces it "Tey Ney Rey" but to me and maybe others that version sounds a little "special" if you know what i mean.

I call it TEN ARRAY accent on the Ten .....

as far as typing, I use a Mac and there are a couple options. Easiest it just insert a symbol from the keyboard symbol list. I'm on a PC right now so don't know how. After that, copy and paste the word somewhere. Then just paste it whenever you need to. Good luck. R

assuming you are on a PC, alt+0233 will get you this - é - has to be done on the keypad though. Not sure if you're on a laptop with no keypad, but you can find it in the character map tool in Accessories

I've been saying "ten array" as well. I suppose that if anyone gives me a hard time I can just say "Hey, I'm from Detroit, not Dee-twah. Are you making fun of my regional accent?" >:D

Ténéré... thanks Trevor.

As someone said way back when, it's pronounced XT1200Z.

Cool, found a keyboard shortcut on Mac that lets you type the accented "e"

And I pronounce it TEN-Uh-Ray...

My Mac-head friends are reporting that if you hold down the e key, it runs through all the diacriticals and lets you choose. I don't have a Mac and haven't seen this myself.
