I enjoyed shooting BB guns as a youth.. One day in my parents house in the basement, I setup a small shooting range and used a hard piece of wood as a way of keeping BB's from going through the wall when I shot a target. Sure enough, one of the BB's shot from the barrel all the way across a very long basement, bounced off the wood backing, and back straight into the middle of my forehead. The bullet RicoChet'd back at me.

Hey RicoChet, You got a good one......

::026:: Add a BB Gun + a basement and you almost always get hit somewhere on your body :D and then fear is the second thing that hits you. What great memories you are bring back. We had a cement wall basement with a coal pile in one corner..... What a great place to set up all the rubber soldiers, cowboys, Indians and anything else that would set still. Oh well time moves on.

Good to see my old thread come back to life !
See below for my first post.
True story O:)

"Not seen this on this Forum yet so here goes.
How did you come about with your online user name ?
Me ? I got mine from my previous job. You see before I became a coal miner I used to be the clown in the parade when the circus came to town that followed the horses. The Ring Master transfered me to the elephants so I quit that day !!
Your turn :)
Later
Scooper"

Much to the dismay of my mom, my dad bought me a 1978 YZ125E for Christmas 1977. I recall that was the best Christmas ever. He passed a few years ago and while he was on his death bed, I reminded him of that present and just how appreciative I still was 36 years later.

A combination of two things from college O0, my nick name PenDragon which became "Draig" and the last three digits from my assigned e-mail address.

After many years of outdoor activities fighting gravity and riding, this cog in the big wheel has become quite worn, hence the worncog.

(oops, my forum name on advrider is blackseven...) This car. Best car, will always miss it. Had an LS1/T56 swap with Texas Speed heads, Long tubes, a nasty MS3 cam. Dyno'd 425/400 and weighed under 2700lbs with fuel and driver. Sold it in 2010 for a down payment on a house.

Defekticon is much less interesting. Broken decepticon.

An Rx-7 with that much HP?! I had a stock '87, and thought that IT was fun. That had to be a blast.

I've had a slew of them. I also had an '89 TurboII and that was a hoot. I have a 90 Non-Turbo sitting in the driveway now that will be my sons first car if he ever brings home a report card worthy of it. We built it together from just a stripped rolling shell.

Mine comes from a Record Label in England. Factory Records ( New Order, Joy Division, The Hacienda birthplace of rave culture )
They were very arty farty, everything had a catalogue number not just the records.
Anyway Fac191 was,
The Company Mouser

I would eat the bearclaw pastries at Panera bread like they were going out of style started as a joke nickname stuck and then it became my backpacking trail name, so now it's stuck for sure..Silly but hey that's how most nicknames start right?

Yeah but being where you are, your Dad probably named you after his favorite hunting rifle.
