I said I was going to wait until they rolled in next year, but after talking with the dealer on Friday (I took my Tiger in for inspection) it sounds like they're not ordering any for stock, it's only special orders with a home - ala V-Max.

This may tip the scales...we'll see.

yea, my understanding was PDP only. So, unless your local dealer is going to cash out for a S10 at cost, there will be no floor models.

I called Romeny Motorsports up yesterday and will be speaking with my banking institution within the week. ;D

Well, the PDP does keep resale prices up.

At least it did for the FJR.

If it's any consolation Yamaha UK have been making bikes available for suppliers ... they've been press fleet and management bikes that they shift around the place which allows punters to drool over and generally become all excitable and giddy about ;D Worked for me ... ::)

That black bike really is freakin awsome IMHO.

i put money down on a blue one, but that black is pretty damn sweet. the dealer told me he was purchasing a few extra - all black - so i may be able to change my mind before next may.

hell, i'd take a pink one... today. ;)

Put my money down on a black one last Friday. The dealer told me the first production run will be made for those ordered, plus ten percent to go on dealer floors. Hurry up May!

Black is the one I picked too. I just noticed it has blacked out passenger grap rails and rear carrier rack too. I hadn't noticed that until now. Kewl. It is a sweet blank canvas, but buncha farkles will find their way onto mine ;D.

I saw a blue/black poll somewhere, maybe ADVrider, Blues were about two to one over the black. I'm glad I ordered black. Racer

I do like both colors, what do you think of adding yellow to the black to get the old time Yamaha look? One of you photo shop pro's should give it a shot!

Out of the blue and into the black. Love the black, on it's way.

I saw a pic of a white helmet with a black line with red inserts in the old Yamaha pattern. It looked really good. I may get some white 1/4" pin stripes and some red tape too and make up a pattern on the black bike. I don't have photoshop but would love to see options. With that red trim on the bike and the red shock spring, I think it would look better than yellow.
