A Holan top box 19"L X 13"W X 12"T box is in great condition the Holan boxes are well made & use a heavy gauge Alum. very stout. I had Holan powder coat it grey (which was an up charge) I lined the inside with 1/8" neoprene and added a cable so lid stayed upright when opened & comes with 2 keys. I think paid 450 for it powder coat added money & time to the order anyway I'd like 225.00 OBO for it.
Thanks

I had it mounted to an alt rider rear rack, all is you need is a flat surface. I sold bike & cant remember if the ST has a flat rear rack if it does you can mount the case the the stock rack.

Same box on my 2014 and if zoomed in you can see the bottom where I just drilled 4 holes to bolt it to the aftermarket luggage rack. I would not bolt it to the OEM plastic rack because I think the plastic would crack over time and miles.

Man, I wish I had seen this a few months back. I wanted a good top box to hold my helmet and go with my silver oem panniers. I ended up finding an oem box, but had to take off the Altrider rear rack that was on the bike when I bought it and buy an oem rack to which to latch it. This would have looked and worked great on my bike, which is the same color as yours. Plus, it would have given me more storage and I could remount my Altrider rack. That's twice this week my timing has been off for things advertised on here. Not to mention the fact I'm way down in Austin, TX (well, I guess I did) and the shipping would likely have been prohibitive. And, after all of this, I took your measurements out to my bike and found is width would prevent my oem panniers from opening. Some dreams die fast.

I hope you find a good home for that nice box.

Anyone know if this will work with the OE panniers or is it too wide? Pictures with OE panniers?
Check my note above. I really wanted to add this to my bike, but it looks like the 19" dimension would overlap my panniers by about an inch each side and prevent my oem panniers from opening. The oem box is 14.5". I centered (9.5") a measure and took a pic for you, plus a side view. Hope this helps.

If it could be mounted to an adapter that would allow it to be easily removed for pannier access, it might work. Aside from that, it appears to be a no go for top opening oem panniers. I don't think mounting it several inches back is an alternative from a weight distribution standpoint.

Sorry, I totally skimmed past that part of your post, but you confirmed my assessment. Crap...
Crap, indeed. Would have fit in well otherwise on my matte gray 2013. If you don't already have oem panniers, you could pick up something side-loading instead and that could work. I just didn't want to have to replace everything.
