Hey guys...one is already spoken for to a lucky recipient of the forum Holiday Giveaway, but I still have three Holan headlight guards in stock in New York and ready to ship out. They're pretty stout and will give that OEM headlight lens some protection against impact from road or trail debris. The guards are $89.99 each plus shipping, and you can click any of the pictures below to be linked to our webstore for more info.

Any questions, please let me know.

Thanks!

Jason

Hey NittanyXT - it's a bolt-on affair, but removes pretty quickly. Just spin out the four socket-head bolts and off it goes! You could probably adapt it to work as a quick release mechanism a'la Touratech (here's their instructions at this link), but there's something to be said for having it bolted on securely.

Any other questions, please let me know. I just sold my last headlight guard, but am ordering more tomorrow.

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply! Is there enough room to work a rag between the guard and the lens? I'm thinking of ordering the guard and the gear shelf, when would you expect more?

I've got two of the gear shelf in stock, and would expect the next order of headlight guards should be in around mid to late March.

Thanks!

Hey Num - I'm in Webster, about 15 minutes north of Rochester and right on Lake Ontario.

C:) hey everyone, I was the lucky winner of the Holan headlight guard from Jason. I installed in seconds and it appears to be a well built sturdy unit. I like the Hummer industrial look it gives my S10 and it should provide the needed protection.

I had the same concerns regarding bug removal, but I think you will be able to easily drop a cloth down between the guard and the headlight and buff it like polishing your boots. You can get your fingers up under about a third of the guard, but the buffing method will be required for the rest. I don't think this will be an issue and I highly recommend this guard. I have seen other removable guards and often wondered if they would rattle or fall off.

Thanks again to ADV Motorrad for making my day.

I 'just' got around to installing this a few weeks ago and had some issues. The posts were all about 1/4" too long (or the bolts were 1/4" too short). No matter how much leverage I put on the bolt I just could not get them to catch a thread and tighten - weird? So, I wound up grinding each of the posts down and it is mounted tightly now, a wee bit less room between the grille and the headlight housing but they seem spaced enough that they shouldn't contact unless hit pretty hard.

Has anyone else hand this same/similar issue or am I just lucky?

Otherwise I really like the grille on there, looks good and some added protection from road debis / bugs.

Hey John - it sounds like the included hardware might've been a bit too short. I've got longer bolts here at the shop I'd be happy to send you, but sounds like you may have already gotten it mounted with a little ingenuity. If you decide you want to space it away from the lens a bit more, just let me know and I'll send you four new bolts and can see what I have for thin aluminum spacers.

Glad you like the guard - it really does a great job of protecting the lens!

Although I've got more on order, I still have one of these left in stock. Get some protection on that headlight lens before your big summer trip! ::26::

Thanks hANNAbONE - glad you like it! It's a nice piece of kit and a good investment, given the expense of having to replace the headlight lens if it gets taken out from road or trail debris!

The last guard I have in stock has been sold, but will update this thread when I receive more from Holan.

Thanks again...
