Well, I lucked out.... Super Teneres are scarce as hens teeth right now, but I happened to call the local dealer today and they just got one in. So, now it's mine! I have not ridden two wheels in over 20 years. My wife passed away this year and I've been racking my brains to find something to do, and I did... back to riding.
The last two bikes I had, a Moto Guzzi and a Yamaha Venture both had shaft drive and the thought of choosing a chain drive bike just didn't do it for me, and then I found the Super Tenere. Not only does it have a shaft drive but I won't have to wet my pants if I see a gravel road.
I hope the border to the US opens up again.... but even if it doesn't, there's plenty of Canada to ride in.
