Yes!
My old BMW RT.. which I’m keeping.
The S10 is taking over long distance trips abroad… the RT will remain and get more daily use, commuting and a few weekends away.
The Harley is an old friend but I only really want to do under 200 miles a day in really nice weather… it’s horrible in the rain!
FXDWG btw… Wide-Glide Evo engine.

Maybe I’m getting old

Thought I’d update this….

Did a long run to Spain last year on the bike and it was faultless. Some of that is on my YouTube channel.
I’ve been gradually assembling a few bits and pieces over the last few months and I’m about to get the bike out of hibernation .

Battery is on charge!

I was amazed to ride from London to Gibraltar and back and not need to add any oil

My old RT would have needed a few small top ups.. maybe 3/4 of a litre across the 3400 miles.
Hopefully that means I’ve got a good one although I bought with 30,000 miles

That’s all I’ve had for 25 years so having a bike use zero oil is amazing to me

I know what you mean. The 1150RT I rode guzzled oil by the quart. It used less oil @ 60k miles than it did 60 miles.

I’ve ordered Arrow headers…
Skid plate has arrived but not fitted yet.
It’s too cold for my workshop atm
