I just picked up my new 2017 Super Tenere ES August 3, 2018. So far I have only logged 150 miles of mountain roads but the bike has been perfect. I traded in a 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan which I had logged 16,000 miles to get the Super Ten.

I will be retiring in 2019 and my son will be joining the navy so I will have a lot of time to put a lot of miles on the super ten.
I hope to gain a lot of insight in all aspects of this amazing machine.

Hi there I just got mine as well. I'm still a few years away before I retire. Mine's a 2017 ES as well. Hit me up and we can go riding someday. As you know the riding up your way is fantastic!!

Welcome aboard. If you need any help with the forum, please reach out to myself or the other moderators (Checkswrecks and colorider) for assistance.

And other than San Diego county, you are probably in one of the best places for riding motorcycles! Hopefully the smoke clears out soon for you, it's choking us badly here in the Vegas area.

ballisticexchris,
Quick question, I see in your posted pic that you have what I think is the new Shoei Neotec II. I am on the fence about buying this lid because while wearing it for about 20 minutes in a motorcycle gear shop it felt kind of heavy. Can you give me any wearing one in the real world feedback?
Thanks,
MFP

I just posted a quick review here:

Just post up any other questions you have on that thread. Might take me a day or two to reply.
