When i was removing rear tire i started by loosening pinch bolt. The swing arm snapped out 4-5 mm on the passenger side when pinch bolt came loose. I thought that curious? Now im at friends trying to finnish, but the swing arm stays 4-5 mm out on passenger side???? Gap remains between swing arm and washer??? Skid plate and center stand problem? Dont make any sense. Didn't happen last time. Stranded!!!15930498232262993321749244898285.jpg

Show a picture of the outside of the right side. The axle is inside the swing arm, not flush. It sounds like the pinch bolt got tightened before the axle nut the last time and put everything in a bind. That image looks correct. Edit; yep that looks good. The pinch bolt is the last thing to get tightened.

Somebody had this problem just the other day. They had a washer, or spacer in the wrong place. Took it apart, found a video, and reinstalled it.

Yes!!
Do you have a washer on the other side between the nut and pumpkin?

I think you are ok Sir!! Look at post # 1 on the rear wheel removal thread. His axle looks the same. I think the reason it sprung was because the pinch bolts were tightened before the axle at last wheel install.

Mine has always been further in than I would have expected, but I consider it normal now. Just make sure it is assembled correctly, torqued in proper order, and just ride. No apologies for all the dust.

The reason the swingarm snap out, must be because it was done wrong last time.
Somebody tighten the allen first, then the big nut, and then the swingarm will be forced to go in:eek:
