Rob, to calculate what size fuse you need is easy;
Volts x Amps = Watts, therefore Watts/Volts = Amps
So if your lightbar is 30 Watts;
30/12 = 2.5 amps, if you can't get a 2.5 amp fuse just choose the lowest value up that's available
Hope that all makes sense

GUYS,
got another question here if my gen 1 like all has the 2 accessories plugs 3 pin for lights and 4 pin for heated grips, WHERE is the fuse for heated grips.
sparrowhawks says that fuse 12 option is the fuse for the aux lights thats ok, but if the 4 pin plug is plugged into oem heated grips as well and that 4 pin is in the wiring loom anybody know how where the fuse for heated grips is

mark,

what do you think of what i said above if fuse 12 option is the fuse for the aux lights as 3 pin is in the wiring harness but you also have the 4 pin connected to factory heated grips how are they fused

Why not replace the original Yamaha lights, turn them to ensure everything is working. Turn them off and pull fuse 12. If the lights are not working now you've found your fuse.

Hope this helps

strange thin is,
just read a thread about the oem heated grips using fuse 12 option so if the wiring loom has a 3 pin connector for lights and a 4 pin connector for heated grips, and your world crosser has both fitted are they both connected to fuse 12 grips and lights

No idea.

My bike is a Gen 2 ES.

The heated grips come as standard and the spots were transferred from my previous Gen 1 bike by the dealer

Sorry can't help

I really dont think it is a 4 pin connector for heated grip. I remember it much smaller...I installed them myself on mt gen ll.
A bit hard to se, but picture is OEM to gen ll.

I'm with Mike here, plug the originals back in, turn everything on and then start pulling fuses till they go out. Then when they do go out see what else (if anything) isn't working
