Texans almost always welcome folks from "Texas ", never say welcome form America or the USA , we kinda proud of our state . it's like a country within a country (we were even an independent nation for ten years before joining the USA ) we are a proud bunch . and welcome from the great state of Texas .

That’s a good point… although if I put in my state or even my town, nobody would have a clue where it is

Y'all are even more wide open than Texas. Like a hot Alaska. Somebody awhile back superimposed the outline of Texas over the map of the UK/EU. I covered a good amount, and several countries. The outline of Alaska covered just about everything.

The additional beauty of Texas is that there is no unelected idiots of the EU telling you stuff like bananas need to be straight.

We have a town here in northern New South Wales (state just below us) that deals with bananas as all bananas here grow straight. They get bundled up and trucked off to this town called Bendemeer to finish them off (look it up- it’s a real town!)
