Over the past couple of years getting a Tenere has been in the back of my mind and that want keeps getting stronger as time goes on. Adventure Touring will be totally new experience for me so I'm looking forward to learning what I can before adding two more wheels to my garage. I currently own a 2012 FJR, I love riding it and have no plan in selling it. I finally have it close to how I want it in comfort and suspension wise..........but the "Oh I need that" never ends though. :) Right now at least I'm thinking I'll go used, something less than 20,000 miles on it before going new to see how I like it. Although, I did by my FJR brand new after a ton of research and never rode one before that day so the chance of going new is a possibility. I saw a really nice 2017 a couple of years ago on a dealer floor and thought it look fantastic, yet in my looking the red 2015 has caught my eye as well. It will be fun to see what I end up with and when.

Ride safe for what's left of this riding season!!

Welcome from Texas. Many here have come from an FJ/FJR. Many still have their FJ/FJRs. (I do) They're great bikes. I like the versatility of the Tenere even more though. She will do anything you want her to do: commuter, sport bike, pack mule, etc. If possible, keep the rocket, and pair it up with a Tenere. Good luck.

Welcome from CNJ!

Season isn't over yet! Did section 1 of the NEBDR last week woke to 26 degrees on my drz.

S10 is out for the count waiting for new rubber seeing that I picked up a nail with my rear tire.

You will LOVE the s10. Great bike. Plus it will get you to some great views.
