Not new to motorcycles just new to the Tenere. Bought a 2017 non ES Tenere last week , great bike so far except for the seat.

Welcome to the madness from another Texan!! Not sure where you are in Texas, but these bikes are great fun, hopefully you can find some dirt roads in your area to explore.

Welcome Dave, hope retirement is agreeing with you. See you finally found your deal. Just received my seat back from Seth Laam last week,
have not had much time to ride yet. Send me a PM if you would like to try it out. Maybe we will see you at BBFO.

Damn Dave, did you get rid of the KTM or the Concours, or are you keeping them all? I didn't know you retired, so I guess you now have more time to ride. :)

Between Doug and I we have most of the farkles.

Doug retirement is great . Wild West made a good deal on the bike . I have to do something with the seat maybe a Russell, but I would like to check out the Lamm seat .

Fred sold the KTM turned over 100 K on the Concours earlier this month . I like to checkout what you and Doug have added .

Check out Doug's bike. Our are pretty much identical except I have a different shield and seat. I agree with you about the seat, it was one of the first things I changed. I went with a Baldwin seat, but he is out of business now.

::004:: I don't know if the seat, or my butt, needed time to break-in, but it is MUCH more comfortable now than when I first picked it up. ::001::

Welcome aboard.
I've been good with the Seat Concepts recover kit. You can find lots of comments about the various seats with a simple search from the home page.

Howdy, good to see you here. I think you'll enjoy the bike. I have in my limited time with it. Is you Concours a gen 1 or 2?
