Hello, all!
New member here from the Blacksburg, VA, area in southwestern Virginia. Recently purchased a Super Ten and have been studying the forum since.
I’m about four years into my second iteration of riding, after being away for about ten years. When I stopped riding back then, there was a KLR, an ST1100, and a GTS1000 in the garage. Four years ago I picked up a Gen1 KLR which is great choice for me, living in the Jefferson Nat’l Forest. While my long distance days (and multi-bike ownership days) are probably behind me, I found I needed something that had a little longer legs than the KLR. Hence, the S-Ten.
I still plan on hitting the region’s Forest Service roads with the S-Ten but probably no more abandoned Appalachian single track / deer paths.
Anyhow, hello and thanks for all of the knowledge that has been deposited into this forum! Time to start farkeling!
