Hi All, glad to be here soaking up the knowledge! Don't currently have a Super Tenere yet but I will be buying one in the next couple of months. At present I ride a Honda NC750x which is being gifted to my Wife as she passed her test last year and has been commuting to work on it, so after reading all about the various big adventure bikes and test riding them I have decided the Super Tenere is the way to go. Still can't decide on the electronic suspension model or not, but I've a couple of months to make up my mind. Cheers, Peter.

Welcome from Swansea! You've made a wide choice choosing an S10. In the UK there is more than just the suspension that is different, the ZE has quite a few extras that are options on the Z, I didn't realise this and added lots of them, I should have gone for the ZE!

Welcome from the middle of the U.S. good luck with your search. I have a 2015 es. I like adjusting the suspension on the fly. I was surprised how well it works. It's also great going from one up to two up ridding.

Welcome from Texas! Listen to yoyo. One of the factory extras is the heated handgrips. With y'alls weather, I would think they should mandatory. Also, in my opinion, the e-suspension is WELL worth the extra cost. It works better than I anticipated. But, the non-ES is still a solid dependable motorcycle.

Another welcome from Swansea! I was undecided about an ES or non-ES model. I found a 2017 non-ES at the right price and as My better half no longer can ride pillion, I decided that I didn’t need an ES model. There again, the previous owner had already added a couple of extras that come with the ES, I am happy with mine just the way it is now.

Welcome Ressie. A wise choice. I have over 140,000 S10 miles under my belt now with no problems. One of the things i always look for is a bike that is not over complicated (less to go wrong). The standard models are absolutely fine...why waste money on anything else. Suspension is fine one up or two up.
Unless you or your pillion are extremely large or you plan on racing the Dakar the regular suspension is fine. Spend the money on tyres and fuel would be my choice. Anyway...I'll shut up now. Welcome and hope you find an S10 soon.

Congratulations on the future new Tenere.
I’ve owned both ES and non ES, the ES seems to ride smoother but I do miss the simple knob for adjusting the rear suspension on the non ES
