Bought a 2016 S10 a couple of month ago. We are in lockdown at the moment, so not allowed to ride. Bike has been cleaned, lubed all levers, fiddled with things. I have now run out of things to do on the bike, so I just look at it longingly every day.

So so sorry to hear of your situation.
Hang in there mate...your country is stellar, and your PM is one of the best.
I long to to return to NZ and AUS.
and hopefully either buy or rent a bike .
Our previous visit in 2020 was a car trip.
I'm in Canada and our riding season is coming to an end.
Presently I am riding a 2020 Africa Twin DCT model non adventure model.
If only I could ride both islands this winter (for us) and enjoy your summer.

Welcome from Texas. I was surprised when I heard that NZ was in lockdown. They had been one of the few places, that I thought had it under control. As for your bike. . . . is it a 60th Anniversary ES? I'm pretty sure all those bike went to Australia, and New Zealand. 'Cuz, the US didn't get any of them.

I'm in Westport, on the west coast of the south Island. Yes it's an anniversary ES one in yellow.
Oh darn, er dang, or whatever.
We drove west from Christchurch to Hokatika and South to Invercargill.
Great motorcycle museum in Invercargill. Sorry we missed your part of the world.

Seems like motorcycling is one of the least likely ways to spread covid. Talk about social distancing!

What do you expect from a guy riding a shiftless Africa Twin?
In his defense, different countries get different colors in different years. But, there is only one color scheme for the 60th Anniversary . . . . and it has to be a '16. Although you can have a '16, and it not be yellow/black.

But, I really do think all the 60th '16 ES bikes went down under. All the ones in the US are non-ES.

I'm lovin my 2020 Africa Twin DCT model non adventure.
Clutches suck...just you wait ...when you get arthritis in your hands and (I ride alot)...my left hand is screaming at me after a day of riding.
DCT is the way of the future.
