I've been looking at the Tenere For a while, I had a 2014 Vstrom 1000abs. Good bike but dealer support is terrible for Suzuki in my area, and there were a few things the Tenere Does that that Vstrom will never do. So I traded the Strom for a 2018 S10 es. Last year I did a 3 hour test ride on the S10 and after that I knew that was my next bike.
I wanted a better Pack Mule, Cruise control, and electronic suspension. The fact that I get heated grips, center stand, knuckle guards Panniers.... all stock sold it.
I'm Leaving it with the dealer until spring so the warranty wont start rolling until the spring. Cant wait to start wacking on the miles this summer, Anyone else in the atlantic Canada area?

Greetings from Newfoundland.

I have 35,000 kms on my 2012 that I picked up as a leftover in 2014. I’ve been thinking of upgrading to a second generation Tenere but really cant justify it as I love my 2012 and it does everything I require. My only “wish” in stock form would be Cruise Control.

Welcome aboard. I’ve done several tours through PEI over the past few years. Beautiful place!

How's she goin' there, MIMSEY, by'e!
Greetings from Cape Breton and welcome to the forum.
Picked up my '18 Super Ten last May and did 19k km this year. She is the most comfortable bike I've owned, a real work horse and I can't get enough of her, LOL. We rode to BC and back this past Sept. and she ran like a Swiss clock for the entire trip.
You've made a good choice...

Welcome MIMSEY of the great white north, from the heat of Texas. You'll love the bike. Sad about having to wait for the spring thaw though. But, she's worth the wait. :D

Congratulations on the new ride MIMSEY ! Cruise control was the main reason I traded my 50,000 mile 2013 for a brandnew 2018 ES. But wow there are lots of other very nice improvements !

Not Atlantic Canada but on my list of places to ride this summer for sure!!! :) Will probably trailer the bikes(wifey and I) till past Quebec City and leave the truck/trailer at a buddy, we are planning on doing the Cabot Trail and such at some point.
