So I was cheap and decided to order a headlight guard from aliexpress. 9360111A-F874-431A-A59E-84ED5DCA0CE9.jpeg
Yes, I know it’s from China and I’m not looking for a debate or buy from the us comments. Just posting my experience. It took it about 3 weeks to arrive and for $15 I am pleased with it.

Time will tell how it holds up but it seems to be good quality.

That's a screaming deal for $15. I actually think they look better than most of the other wire mesh versions I've seen.

As bimota said, some parts like that are just grossly overpriced for what they are. Compared to some of the pricier options, you saved as much as $45 per week of shipping time -- that's a lot of gas money, or a good chunk of your next tire change. Nice find!

The best that I can tell. . . . if it says Touratech. . . . it's a safe bet that it's well made. But, if it says Touratech. . . . it's an equally safe bet that it's expensive. Pick your poison. :)

I've had the same one for over 3yrs, it's been great, its painted rather than powder coated, I've had a couple of stone chips but a quick touch up with matt black and it looks good as new.

The guard itself looks very similar to the Touratech version but is bolted on rather than quick release ball and socket but to be honest I prefer that as it's more secure.

$15 is really cheap too, great find!

I have one and it looks great and has held up for years. Why pay more. Is not like any of these parts are made in the USA which is the only reason I pay a premium.

I bought one too from alli.... certainly worth 15$.
If it is not a safety part (brake pads, disc, ect.)
Why should we pay much more.
Please attach links to cheap deals you find for the bike.

Is it painted or powder-coated?
Was this piece purchased on eBay or Amazon?
