Before I forget, I wanted to pop my head in here and wish everybody who is heading to the Yukon a good trip. I'm sure it's going to be an epic ride and event, and I truly wish I could be heading there, but alas, other duties always call.

Rem, Troll, good job to you guys for organizing this, your diligence and attention to detail is amazing. I know who to call if I ever need an event planned. ::008::

So with that said, have a good time and be sure to take lots of pictures!

Thanks, Venture!

Only 3 more days at work before I head north and of course many of the riders are already en route. Jenny & I are just champing at the bit to get going.

My gratitude also to the organizers and to you for facilitating communication though the forum.

Really looking forward to meeting and BS'ing with everyone in Whitehorse.

Trev.

Have a ball, y'all, and make sure to pack good rain gear. We've been living in ours for over a week.

Aw, shucks. Better hold that thought until this is all done. Weather is smartening up. Things seem to be coming together. phplemel has come through big time. I'm hiding under the bridge with Troll. We'll see what happens. The only apparent fly in the ointment is the South Canol. Still closed. I'm going to Highways tomorrow and get some answers. And if they don't cooperate ..... I'm sending the wife.

So with that said, have a good time and be sure to take lots of pictures!

I'm sure that will happen. Looking fard to it. Wish you could make it. We'll document. Good luck to us all. R

I sure wish I was going on this trip. It will be a blast I'm sure.

You'll have a great and safe ride, and post many pictures, so those that did not go, can see what they missed.. ::001::

Echo Chris' comments about the great job the Yukon group has done to organize this event!

I will roll out day after tomorrow (Sunday) and expect to be in Whitehorse that Friday - a week from today. Rem is under strict orders to get the roads opened up and optimal weather conditions. If he does not come through, I'm demanding all the money back that I sent him over the last year......

Working half day Wednesday and then taking off. 700miles/day gets me there easy on Saturday.

Have the Go Pro charged up and ready for the interesting roads on the trip like the Canol if it is open by the 2nd. oops just saw Rem's other post :-[ many roads we will be traveling.

Thanks to all!

Someday, probably when I'm retired, I want to do a cross-country trip. Maybe even a ride up to Alaska.

Maybe by then my pussy-whipped riding buddies will actually have either grown a pair or have gotten tired of their wives such that they actually WANT to go with me rather than bailing at the last minute as usual. One can hope...

You could always leave them at home and travel solo. I have as much enjoyment solo as I do riding with a few friends, and, you could always tell your great stories, and make them feel bad. Or not.. ::025::

I retired in '06 and it was my goal to ride all 48 of the lower states the following year. It didn't happen, but I did ride to AK in '07 and several cross country trips (including Canada a couple times) since.

GO RIDE Chris!!!

Again, many thanks Chris for creating the space for us to organize this ride and to stay connected with the crew. We couldn't have done it without your help. ::008:: ::008::
