Welcome from Kansas
My tenere is parked in a sea of Harley's during the summer at work. The other 3 months I'm
the lone ranger in that same parking lot. Enjoy your new ride.

Yep! That's how it is. The guy that bought my Harley dumped it in my yard. He told me he wants the Harley to ride to bars. I almost didnt sell it to him. But I wanted the Super Tenere :)

Welcome aboard!
I have been riding street bikes since many, many moons ago.
Never owned a Harley because I am allergic to forward foot controls.

Welcome, Old Scratch! You'll love the Tenere more and more, the more you ride her. I came off of a Kaw ZG1000 Concours, but had had three HD's before that, and haven't looked back.

Where in 'Bama are you? I grew up in the Shoals area, worked for years for NASA and the Missile Command in Huntsville/Redstone Arsenal/MSFC while living in Decatur or Madison. Married a girl from south of B'ham, and after our home got damaged moderately by Hurricane Ivan, we moved to northern Missouri and bought her Grandma's old homeplace and farm.

I live in Guntersville. Worked on Redstone for several years. As far as the Super Tenere goes, I have already dropped it in the mud! This bike should be called the Super Fun.
