I came across an article on FB... Said it was 800-900 Lbs and is $17,000 / $20,000..... Is this info 'somewhat' accurate ? It will be interesting to read about others opinions in the next 12-18 Mo.

Top speed list it as 547 lbs wet weight. If Harley pulled off a 145 horse power 547 pound adventure bike that turns out to be fairly relievable, I will be impressed. Just noticed the article is November of 19 so it's pretty old information.

I am particularly fond of the "H-D Adventure Clothing" - note the bar and shield on the rider's arm.

I hope that it's OK, but that headlight/fairing is possibly the ugliest thing i've seen on an ADV bike. ( And that's including me - which is saying quite a bit. I am not a handsome man.) Given H-D's reputation for "style," i am surprised.

However, my guess is that H-D didn't really develop this thing, but farmed it out. AVL did all of the engine/transmission/FI/driveline development on the Street Series, and Engines Engineering did the chassis/bodywork/design. The street was clearly done on a budget, but my wife loves hers, and it's been stone reliable. Heavy, crappy brakes (which can be / were fixed) and crappy suspension (which were fixed), but otherwise OK. Magneti Marelli was heavily involved in the development of the Livewire. There's a precedent for farming stuff out, so this might be the case here.

I guess we shall see.

If it's really that heavy and expensive it will DOA.

Yes, somewhat accurate.
It will be weighed in pounds and sold in dollars, at least here in the United States. It might be sold in pounds in other parts of the world.

Not defending H-D, but, I'm not seeing that weight. The T-12 is know to be the chunky monkey of ADV bikes. An additional 3-400 lbs, Maybe with my fat ass on it. Price? Definitely possible..

Yeah, Im not buying the 800 to 900 lbs weight. Word is under 600 filled and appearances alone that looks to be ball park. Now granted that below 600 is most likely stripped of bags and accessories, at 145 HP Id be happy with it.

A owner of a few different bikes, including a couple HDs, I can say the only thing thatd get me in the dealer to look at a new HD is the PA. Though priced and specd right, itd definitely need a year or two before I considered one based on the cluster Fxxx the M8s were...... And if the aftermarket picks it up.

It may look like there is a radiator in the fairing behind the light, which could be why the fairing is so big and square.
It out-fuglies the Tenere.

Y'all are off your rockers. The T-12 isn't ugly. She's not flashy, but definitely not ugly. . . . to me anyway. Now, the H-D ADV. . . . either a vacuum. . . . or someone with a tremendously awful overbite.

Still says it looks like a space alien. From the movie Battleship. Still not as bad as the H-D.
