Just thought I'd kick it off with a Happy Easter, remembering the reason for it is actually not about bunnies and decorated eggs. Probably like most, our family get-together is off and at this point it will just be a few of us on the back deck where we can each bring in our own food/drink and be appropriately spaced apart. I originally wrote spaced out, but we're all about there anyway these days.

Obviously the Jewish among us are already in the heart of Passover. I'm sure you are similarly torn on how to handle the Seder and understand that having a virtual gathering is a thing this year.

Gotta throw in a humorous note for the atheists and whoever else might want a holiday. Today is National Pet Day and here's Cleo's view about being woken up for it.

Happy Easter to all. I wish the very best to all of you and your families during this sacred day. For me this day represents proof of a new and eternal life.

Here is our little guy. He is almost 16 years old. He's a good little doggie!!

Hope everyone's families are safe and well.

Adopted this goober from a shelter last year -- was a stray for the first 4 months of life. He's 1.5 years old now, some sort of Rhodesian ridgeback / shepherd / greyhound mix. The hair along his spine stands straight up when he gets defensive, but lays flat otherwise. Built and runs like a greyhound, and could probably chew through the hull of a ship - kevlar dog toys are destroyed within an hour.

Before you say it, no, that's not my hand, and yes, that's a "bunny butt" dog cookie that I was vehemently against purchasing.
