I walked out of a store to get in my truck. Grabbed the door handle and realized their was a lady sitting behind the steering wheel scared $hitless. It wasn't my truck.

Similar thing. An old lady tells me that there's a car parked in the same spot that she left hers, but it's not her car. She said it looks exactly the same, but it's not mine. Thinking that she was starting to slip, I asked her why she was so sure that the car wasn't hers, she replied that the license plate on the car was wrong. So, I ran the plate on the car, and it came back to her, and her husband. . . . and had been issued three days ago. She apologized for wasting my time, and told me she was on her way home to speak with husband about changing the plate without telling her.

I was impressed. I'm not sure how long it would have taken me to notice my plates had been changed.

I was in a line of cars at church to pickup my daughter when the passenger door opens and a young woman not my daughter opens it and climbed and even fastened the seat belt .... and after sitting there for a few seconds I finally say "wrong car" . she bailed out like she was on fire.
we all have some experience like this in a cookie cutter car world ..... but I've never seen any two Teneres look alike out in the real world . its interesting how our individual taste and what we choose to purchase to properly Farkle our bikes makes them look so different . BMW look like BMW no matter what you do to them .
and that looks like a great camp ground to stay at ....

I never see one Tenere, never mind two at the same time. Jeeps used to be the same way. Now, everybody and their dog has one just to say they have one, and most have not been personalized at all.

started crawling up into what I thought was my truck at a loading dock when some stranger sticks his head out of the sleeper, he thought I was there to tell him they were finished loading his truck.

Mine is in the background in the picture. The clean one did need a fork seal looked at...
Two "unrelated" ST's at the same spot, same color, was pretty cool. Should have gone back in to find the owner, but we were on a schedule.

The Goldwing trike I was with was complaining about his handling on the numerous 10 mph curves on the southern portion. The abundant tar snakes in that same stretch were my biggest concern. The scenery has probably degraded with some of the major burned areas. Still lots of fun and a must ride route! It is definitely the longest stretch of continuous curves that I've ridden. It was a long 500 mile day ride from where I live.
