Hanging Rock Super Tenere event? Anyone been to it? Says Saturday is a Husqvarna dual sport event and Sunday a Yamaha Super Tenere adventure ride event. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=941751

Had fun there in past years. Can't make it this year. I recommend it!

I've done this ride several times and it is a hoot. I usually just do the dirt ride, but last year I trailered both bikes and did the adventure ride on Sunday with my wife on the back. We had a blast and ended up riding with a few other 2 uppers for an enjoyable day. If it rains stay out of the woods sections on the tenere or you will be miserable. Plenty of scenic gravel roads and bunches of things to see in the area. Be sure to ride thru the train tunnel if they take you that route. It has some water in it, but only about six inches max and the bottom is solid

Thanks for all the follow up posts. I have been busy and haven't checked the forum in a while. I have it flagged and hope to make the event. Loretta Lynn's MTDR event was amazing too.
