Interesting Video. Worth considering if you have wrist/ hand problems is if your elbows cant bend you put extra load onto those areas. If your just sitting riding a straight line there is not much going on. Most of my riding consists of bend after bend up down all around so more stress for those areas. Yours elbows take some stress away.

Interesting video and he definitely put a lot of work into it ! He does a good job of pointing out some interesting facts but every rider is different so what works great for one rider might work terrible for the next rider.

Yes interesting video
Something I noticed is that the bike seemed to be pretty twitchy on the road after the new bars and after watching that and doing some more reading I've taken the risers out and put the bars in the standard position
I'm going to start there and make adjustments as needed, it came with the risers on it and they could be part of the problem too, first impressions are that the bike seems easier to move around in the shed
This thing always made me feel like I was a small kid pushing a large bike and is a pain to maneuver into parking spots etc, the bars being lower just makes it feel not so big and heavy anymore
Must have something to do with leverage etc, off for a ride now and see how it goes

So, 3 hours out on the bike and no more pains
The bike feels so much better to ride without the risers, it is no longer twitchy and much easier to maneuver at low speeds and stopping at traffic lights/parking etc
Funny thing is my seating position feels much better, I'm not reaching for the bars and I'm not leaning on them either it just feels like a normal bike now, It's still big and heavy but it's much easier to manage and doesn't feel like it's going to fall on me anymore
I really was thinking about selling this bike because I just couldn't come to terms with it but I can put that decision off now
Oh and StefanOnHisS10 thanks for posting that video mate, that's been a game changer for me

You are welcome, but the credits go to Brett for making these high quality videos for us.
I am happy to hear that you are sorted now. Time to do what she is made for! Putting a lot of miles (km’s in your case) on it!

Mate I did so many searches on handlebar setup and bike geometry etc and most of what came back was just fluff and bullshit, Understand you didn't make he video but it helped me no end and that one didn't show up in any of my searches
I certainly will be clocking up the K's now, especially as we are heading into summer now and the weather is only going to improve, I really feel for you guys that are heading into winter
Must suck to be on the wrong side of the world at this time of year, Haha only joking ;):)
We only have to put up with deadly snakes, sharks, crocodiles, huge spiders and hot weather now but it's all part of the fun of living here ;)
