Hand guards recommendations

The S10 is more capable that she gets credit for. This is for those who chose to risk some character lines.

I'm happy with the stock plastic. But if I had to buy a set, barkbusters will always get my money. Had them on 4 bikes, no complaints. I like that you can take the plastic wind guards off with 2 screws for the summer and still have the aluminum bar to protect.

I thought you had Touratech hand guards on your S10 Rob?

I think it’s a fair question as Touratech is no longer available. Barkbusters seem to be the most popular, but Highway Dirt Bikes seems more robust, while Cycra and Acerbis have some interesting offerings.

I stayed stock , added some extenders ordered from Deftoner then put some Hepco and Becker mirror breakers on, work really well and tough too

i do have touratech om mine mike, but i still think barkbusters are alot better protection if off roading, i don,t think touratech ones give any more protection than the standard ones

Those HB guards are an interesting proposition, but look like a heavier total package, cost more than others and stick out further forward, (oem already contact my aftermarket windshield). Thx for pics
